What were you really struggling with before we began working together?
Building a website felt so overwhelming. From “where to do I even begin”, to all the tech being way over my head. Most importantly, I was wondering how to incorporate myself, my process, and my art into it? I had no idea. Mariana eased all of those big overwhelming fears into easy, thoughtful and supportive steps.
What were you nervous about before our work started?
I was worried I wouldn’t know how to communicate what my vision was. But Mariana was always able to take what I was giving her and go a level deeper to produce something so beautiful and straight to the heart of my vision.
What's your biggest takeaway from our work together?
Mariana is unbelievably talented and extremely knowledgeable about her craft but what impressed me the most was her tender care and compassion along the journey. She cares about you–the person. She encourages you to tend to yourself and your art while working together. Compassion, gentleness, her unique design, and exquisite attention to detail made her the optimal person to work with.
How would you describe working with me?
Mariana took all the guesswork out of the process. She helped me answer questions I didn’t even know I had and brung forth the vision that was there all along. She was supportive, gentle, and compassionate yet strong, decisive, and structured. The perfect blend that gave me permission to access my unique self how I needed to as an artist but also give me the scaffolding to stay on target and together execute our vision.
How do you feel now about your decision to hire me?
100 % would hire you again. No if’s, and’s, or but’s about it. You built me a website so incredibly beautiful, sophisticated, and timeless. But most of all, it reflected me and my art. You took different parts of me, my story, my art journey, and my art itself to create a brand that looks effortless but I know is only something you could create.
How do you feel now that the project is over about moving forward?
Having a beautiful website that reflects my vision and art so thoughtfully, professionally, and vibrantly makes it so easy to want to send everyone to see my online gallery of work. I’m very proud of what we created and love sharing it with others.
